1. Who we are

Paw Laureate is a trading name of Shang Voong Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14527876). Registered office: 469 Kingsway, Manchester, M19 1NR. Email: pawlaureate@gmail.com. Shang Voong Limited is the "controller" of your personal data, which means we decide how and why it is used.

2. What we collect

• Checkout (Stripe): your name, email address and UK delivery address. We don't ask for your phone number. Card details are handled by Stripe and never seen or stored by us.
• Order details: what you bought, the price, the date and the order reference.
• Photo form (Tally): your name, checkout email, your pet's name, your pet's photo(s), any notes you add, and your order details.
• Waitlist and customer service: emails you send us and our replies.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

• To make and deliver your order, including creating your portrait, printing, shipping and fixing problems. Legal basis: contract.
• To send order emails, such as photo upload links, proofs and delivery updates, and to tell waitlist members when orders open. Legal basis: legitimate interests. You can ask us to stop at any time.
• To answer your questions and complaints. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• To keep business and tax records. Legal basis: legal obligation.

We don't send marketing emails. We won't use your pet's photo or portrait in marketing, on social media or on our website unless you give separate permission.

4. Who we share it with

We share only what each service needs: Stripe (payments), Tally (photo upload form), Printful (printing and delivery of your item, including its couriers, who receive your name and address) and Google (our Gmail email). These companies act on our behalf under written terms. We don't sell your data.

5. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK, for example in the EU or the USA. Where that happens we rely on safeguards recognised by UK data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

6. How long we keep it

• Pet photos and notes: 30 days after your order is delivered, then deleted. Email us to delete them sooner.
• Waitlist emails: until orders open and we've told you, or until you ask us to remove you, and no longer than 30 days after orders open for your product.
• Order and payment records: 6 years from the end of the company financial year they relate to, as required for tax records.

7. Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, ask us to restrict how we use it, or to transfer it to you. Email pawlaureate@gmail.com and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
